Ingredients:

Separate Alfredo sauce, pasta and chicken’s ingredients for more organised dish preparation. We have three main components in this recipe i.e creamy Alfredo sauce, crispy golden-chicken and perfectly cooked pasta. 

Substitute chicken with turkey, shrimp or beef for variation __ marinate them with the same method.  

Marinate Chicken for Fazoli’s Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo:

  • 4-6 thinly sliced chicken breasts
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 2 cups panko bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Oil (for frying)

Alfredo Sauce:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  •  ¼ cup pasta water
  • Salt and pepper  (to taste)

Fettuccine:

  • 1 lb fettuccine, cooked al dente

Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo’s Instructions:

  • Bring a large pot of water to boil, and add salt.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix bread crumbs with ¼ cup parmesan cheese. 
  • Now, coat chicken in all-purpose flour, dip in whisked eggs, and coat with the breadcrumbs mixture.
  • Fry marinated chicken until golden brown on each side. Slice into thin, bite-sized pieces.
  • On medium heat, melt butter and saute garlic until aroma arises.
  • Stir the heavy cream, salt, Parmesan cheese, and pepper.  
  • Toss the cooked fettuccine pasta in the Alfredo sauce. Pour the reserved pasta water to bring more consistency in pasta sauce. Adjust salt to taste.
  • Place crispy chicken bites over the pasta, and enjoy!
